John Percy Nicholson was born circa March 1872 at Liverpool Registration District.1 He was the son of Malcolm Nicholson and Margaret Parr.1
He was recorded as living with his parents and younger brothers Malcolm, Hubert in the 1881 census at 8 Virginia Street, Bootle, Liverpool. He was recorded as being 9 years old.2 His occupation was recorded as being a scholar in the census.2
He was recorded as living with his parents and younger siblings Malcolm, Hubert, William, Thomas, Margaret and Arthur in the 1891 census at 231 Marsh Lane, Bootle, Liverpool. He was recorded as being 19 years old.1 His occupation was recorded as being a clerk in the census.3
John Percy Nicholson married Harriett Davies circa March 1895 at West Derby Registration District, Liverpool.4
He was recorded as living with his father, three of his young children, a niece and siblings Margaret, Arthur and Malcolm in the 1911 census at 116 Whetstone Lane, Birkenhead, Cheshire. He was recorded as being 39 years old.5 His occupation was recorded as being a bookkeeper for a fruit merchant in the census.5
John died circa June 1916 at Birkenhead, Cheshire.1
