Edith Margaret Nicholson was born circa 1898.1 She was the daughter of John Percy Nicholson and Harriett Davies.1
She was recorded as living with her grandfather, her father, siblings and other family in the 1911 census at 116 Whetstone Lane, Birkenhead, Cheshire. She was recorded as being 13 years old.2 Her occupation was recorded as being a scholar in the census.2
