Thomas P. Nicholson was born circa June 1880 at Bootle, Liverpool.1 He was the son of Malcolm Nicholson and Margaret Parr.1
He was recorded as head of household in the 1881 census with Margaret Parr as his spouse and children living at 8 Virginia Street, Bootle, Liverpool. He was 32 years old. His age was recorded as 49 years old. Also living in the house were four of their sons.1
He was recorded as living with his parents and siblings John, Malcolm, Hubert, William, Margaret and Arthur in the 1891 census at 231 Marsh Lane, Bootle, Liverpool. He was recorded as being 10 years old.2 His occupation was recorded as being a scholar in the census.3
He was recorded as living with his parents and siblings Hubert, Margaret and Arthur in the 1901 census at Bootle, Liverpool. He was recorded as being 20 years old.4 His occupation was recorded as being a joiner in the census.4
