Caroline Mary Smith was born on 8 March 1840 at Manchester.1 She was the daughter of W. Smith.2

Caroline Mary Smith married Parker Nicholson, son of Donald Nicholson and Jane Wetherell, at Spencer Street Chapel on Thursday, 24 September 1863 at Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. They were 23 and 22 respectively.2,1

Caroline Mary Smith was recorded as the spouse of Parker Nicholson in the 1871 census at 57 Warwick Street, Hulme, Manchester. She was recorded as being 31 years old.3

Caroline died on 19 February 1874 at Hale Barns, Cheshire, at age 33.1
