Gertrude Caroline Nicholson was born circa December 1870 at Chorlton registration district, Manchester.1 She was the daughter of Parker Nicholson and Caroline Mary Smith.1
She was recorded as living with her parents and siblings Colin, Percy, Alfred and Jessie in the 1871 census at 57 Warwick Street, Hulme, Manchester. She was recorded as being just one monthh old.2
Gertrude died circa March 1872 at Chorley Registration District, Lancashire.1
