Alfred Parker Nicholson was born circa 1869 at Chorlton registration district, Manchester.1,2 He was the son of Parker Nicholson and Caroline Mary Smith.1
He was recorded as living with his parents and siblings Jessie, Colin, Percy and Gertrude in the 1871 census at 57 Warwick Street, Hulme, Manchester. He was recorded as being just 1 year old.3
His mother died 19 February 1874 at the age of 33.
Alfred Parker Nicholson was a boarder at Gosberton Private Boarding School, Gosberton, Lincolnshire, in the 1881 census. His age was recorded as 11.4
Alfred emigrated circa August 1888.1 Alfred arrived at Halifax, Nova Scotia, circa September 1888.1
Alfred died on 22 July 1918 at Montreal, Quebec.1
