Alexander Peter Nicholson was born circa December 1863 at Hoose, Wirral, Cheshire.4,5 He was the son of Thomas Nicholson and Elizabeth Roberts.3 As of 1870, Alexander Peter Nicholson was also known as Alexandra Peter.6
He was recorded as living with his parents (although at the time of the census his father was out working) and his siblings Lillian, Edwin and Amy in the 1871 census. He was recorded as being 7 years old.4 His occupation was recorded as being a scholar in the census.4
He was recorded as living with his parents and siblings Edwin, Amy, Martha and Thomas in the 1881 census at Alfred Street, Hoose, Wirral, Cheshire. He was recorded as being 17 years old.7 His occupation was recorded as being a fisherman in the census.7
Alexander Peter Nicholson married Martha Elizabeth Rowland circa September 1886 at Wirral Registration District, Cheshire.3
He was recorded as head of household in the 1891 census with Martha Elizabeth Rowland as his spouse at Marmion Road, Hoose, Wirral, Cheshire. The house of Peter Nichoson's family was in the same street as his father and his aunt's. Also living in his house were two of his sons.8
Alexander died circa 1958.3
