Ronald George Nicholson was born circa December 1889 at Wirral Registration District, Cheshire.1 He was the son of Alexander Peter Nicholson and Martha Elizabeth Rowland.1
He was recorded as living with his parents and brother Henry in the 1891 census at Marmion Road, Hoose, Wirral, Cheshire. He was recorded as being just 1 year old. The house of Peter Nichoson's family was in the same street as his father and his aunt's.2
