Edwin Harold Nicholson was born circa December 1867 at Hoose, Wirral, Cheshire.3,4 He was the son of Thomas Nicholson and Elizabeth Roberts.2

He was recorded as living with his parents (although at the time of the census his father was out working) and his siblings Lillian, Alexander and Amy in the 1871 census. He was recorded as being 3 years old.3

He was recorded as living with his parents and siblings Alexander, Amy, Martha and Thomas in the 1881 census at Alfred Street, Hoose, Wirral, Cheshire. He was recorded as being 13 years old.5 His occupation was recorded as being a scholar in the census.5

Edwin Harold Nicholson married Mary Linekar circa 1890.2
