Annie R. Reid was born circa 1849 at Aberdeen.1,2 She was the daughter of James Reid and Margaret Gibb.1
She was recorded as living with her parents, aunt and younger siblings James, Jessie and David, Robina and Irvine in the 1861 census at 58 John Street, Aberdeen.1 Annie R. Reid was a scholar in April 1861.1 Annie provided information on the death of George Gibb, on 30 January 1866, at Red Lion Court 77 Broad Street, Aberdeen. | he died in the house of widow Margaret Grant (or Durno)..3
She was recorded as living with her parents and siblings Jessie, David, Robina, Irvine, Charles and Margaret in the 1871 census at Aberdeen. She was recorded as being 21 years old.2 Annie R. Reid was a 'general house servant' on 2 April 1871.
Annie R. Reid married (?) Todd circa 1872.4
Her father died 6 November 1881 at the age of 66.
On 3 May 1882 her sister Robina died at the age of 24.
Annie likely died on 12 August 1903 at Stonehaven, Kincardineshire.5
