Martha Nicholson was born on 27 July 1840 at Hoylake, Cheshire.1,2 She was the daughter of Alexander Nicholson and Martha Davies.1
She was recorded as living with her mother and siblings Donald, Thomas and Alexander in the 1841 census at Hoose, Wirral, Cheshire.1
Martha died on 13 March 1845 at Hoylake, Cheshire, at age 4.2
