Annie Louisa Darby was born circa 1839 at Furneaux Pelham, Hertfordshire.1 She was the daughter of William Darby and Eliza Webb.1 Annie Louisa Darby was baptised at St. Mary's on Sunday, 2 February 1840 at Furneaux Pelham, Hertfordshire.3

She was recorded as living with her parents and older siblings William, George, Eliza, John, Sarah and Thomas in the 1841 census at Hitsom Hall, Furneaux Pelham, Hertfordshire. She was recorded as being just one years old.1

She was recorded as living with her parents and siblings John and William in the 1851 census at High Trees, Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. She was recorded as being 10 years old.4

She married Joseph Springham, son of James Springham and Mary Ann (?), in a Church of England ceremony at St. James' on Monday, 28 April 1873 at Clerkenwell, London.. Joseph and Annie went on to have three known children together.5,6 Annie and Joseph lived in April 1873 at 54 Cowcross Street, Islington, London.5

Annie Louisa Darby was recorded as the spouse of Joseph Springham in the 1891 census at 21 Roydon Road, Stanstead Abbots, Hertfordshire. She was recorded as being 49 years old, and living with her three children and her younger sister Sarah who was recorded as being their servant.7

Annie Louisa Darby was recorded as the spouse of Joseph Springham in the 1901 census at Roydon Road, Stanstead Abbots, Hertfordshire. She was recorded as being 51 years old, and she was living with her son Joseph, her daugter Cecilia and her sister Sarah.8

Annie died circa December 1903 at Ware registration district, Hertfordshire.3
