Eliza Webb was born in 1804 at Waltham Abbey, Essex.3 She was the daughter of Arthur Webb and Catherine (?)2 Eliza Webb was baptised at Abbey Church of Waltham Holy Cross and St Lawrence on Sunday, 8 January 1804 at Waltham Abbey, Essex.2
Eliza Webb married William Darby, son of Thomas Darby and Elizabeth Perry, at St. John the Baptist on Monday, 10 January 1825 at Great Amwell, Hertfordshire.1
Eliza Webb was recorded as living with William Darby in the 1841 census at Hitsom Hall, Furneaux Pelham, Hertfordshire, and other records indicate this was her spouse. The 1841 census only recorded adult ages rounded down to the nearest 5 years; her approximate age was recorded as 35 years old. Also living in the house were their seven children.4
Eliza Webb was recorded as the spouse of William Darby in the 1851 census at High Trees, Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. She was recorded as being 47 years old.3
Eliza Webb was recorded as the spouse of William Darby in the 1861 census at Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. She was recorded as being 55 years old.. Also living in the house were two of their adult children.5
Eliza Webb was recorded as the spouse of William Darby in the 1871 census at Widford, Hertfordshire. She was recorded as being 53 years old.6
Eliza died circa March 1874 at Ware registration district, Hertfordshire.1
