Owen Malcolm Nicholson was born on 29 May 1864 at Oswestry, Shropshire.1 He was the son of Alexander Nicholson and Elizabeth Jones.1
He was recorded as living with his parents and siblings Elizabeth, Edward, Margaret, Ernest and Magnus in the 1871 census at Llynclys Bridge, Llynclys, Shropshire. He was recorded as being 6 years old.2
Owen Malcolm Nicholson married Anne Griffiths.1
