Andrew Nicholson was born on 20 June 1863 at Manchester Registration District.1 He was the son of Walter Wetherell Nicholson and Mary Goodfellow.1
He was recorded as living with his parents, a servant and a nurse, and siblings Joseph, Walter, Fred, Harold and Annie in the 1871 census at Hereford Street, Sale, Cheshire. He was recorded as being 7 years old.2 His occupation was recorded as being a scholar in the census.2
He was recorded as living with his parents, two servants and his siblings Walter, Harold, Annie, Edgar, Norman, Arthur and Edwin in the 1881 census at Brighton Grove, Rusholme, Manchester. He was recorded as being 17 years old.3 His occupation was recorded as being a fancy good warehouseman in the census.3
He was recorded as a boarder in a hotel at 143 Union Street, Plymouth, Devon, in the 1901 census. He was recorded as being 39 years old.4 His occupation was recorded as being a clerk in an insurance office in the census.4
Andrew died on 3 June 1902 at Plymouth at age 38.1,5
