Edgar Nicholson was born on 13 September 1871.1 He was the son of Walter Wetherell Nicholson and Mary Goodfellow.1
He was recorded as living with his parents, two servants and his siblings Walter, Andrew, Harold, Annie, Norman, Arthur and Edwin in the 1881 census at Brighton Grove, Rusholme, Manchester. He was recorded as being 9 years old.2 His occupation was recorded as being a scholar in the census.2
Edgar emigrated from England circa 1885. Edgar arrived at Canada circa 1885.
He was recorded as living with his mother and siblings Harold, Annie and Arthur in the 1891 census at Hochelaga, Quebec. She was recorded as being married, but her husband wasn't there.3
He was recorded as living with his mother and siblings Harold, Annie, Norman, Arthur and Edwin in the 1891 census at St. Henri Town, Hochelaga, Quebec.4
Edgar Nicholson married Laura Louisa Ward, daughter of William Hill Ward and Sarah Cross, on Wednesday, 20 September 1905 They were 34 and 25 respectively.1
Edgar died on 11 January 1944 at Canada at age 72.1
