Mary Darby was baptized at St. Andrew's Parish Church on Sunday, 10 May 1818 at Hertford.1 She was the daughter of James Darby and Elizabeth Brambel.1 She presumably lived with her parents at Lime Kilns, Greenwich, London, in August 1828. Mary lived in May 1840 at Deptford, Greenwich, Kent.2

Mary Darby married John William Blanchard at St. Nicholas on Saturday, 16 May 1840 at Deptford, Greenwich, Kent. They were 22 and 21 respectively.3,2

Mary was in Kenty County Lunatic Asylum, Maidstone, Kent, in 1871, and stayed there for the last years of his life.4

Mary may have died in 1882 at Greenwich, London.4
