John William Blanchard married Mary Darby, daughter of James Darby and Elizabeth Brambel, at St. Nicholas' on Saturday, 16 May 1840 at Deptford, Greenwich, Kent. They were 21 and 22 respectively.1,3
John was in Kenty County Lunatic Asylum, Maidstone, Kent, in 1871, and stayed there for the last years of his life.4
John died in 1880 at Maidstone, Kent.4
