Anders Eriksen Ottestad was born circa 1720 at at Lundgård Lille farm near the village of Ottestad Stange Parish, Hedmark, Norway.3,4 He presumably lived with his parents at Ottestad, Stange Parish, Hedmark, in January 1720.5 He was the son of Erik Andersen Lundgård and Karen Henriksdatter Lundgård.1,2 Anders Eriksen Ottestad was baptised on Sunday, 14 January 1720 at Stange Parish, Hedmark, Norway.3 He presumably lived with his parents at at Lundgård farm near the village of Ottestad Stange Parish, Hedmark, Norway, in January 1727.5 He may have been confirmed on Sunday, 4 October 1739 at Stange Parish, Hedmark, however being confirmed at the age of 19 is unusual.6 He was a soldier in November 1753.7 Anders lived in November 1753 at at Musli farm near the village of Ottestad Stange Parish, Hedmark, Norway.7

He married Kari Larsdatter Ottestad, daughter of Lars Olsen Mørkved and Eli Pedersdatter Ottestad søndre, on Saturday, 17 November 1753 at Stange Parish, Hedmark..8,4 Anders and Kari lived in September 1755 at Ottestad, Stange Parish, Hedmark, Norway.9 Anders and Kari lived in October 1771 at Ottestad, Stange Parish, Hedmark.10 Anders and Kari lived in October 1779 at Ottestad, Stange Parish, Hedmark.11

He married Eli Simensdatter Ottestad, on Thursday, 19 November 1789 at Ottestad, Stange Parish, Hedmark. Anders was aged about 69, and his new wife was about 31. The banns had been read about four weeks prior..12,4 Anders and Eli lived in October 1794 at Ottestad, Stange Parish, Hedmark.13

He was recorded as head of household in the 1801 census with Eli Simensdatter Ottestad as his spouse at Ottestad, Stange Parish, Hedmark.14

Anders died on 26 October 1816 at Stange Parish, Hedmark.15,4 His body was interred on 4 November 1816 at Ottestad, Stange Parish, Hedmark.15,4
