Peder Andersen Ottestad was born circa 1763 at Stange Parish, Hedmark, Norway.2 He was the son of Anders Eriksen Ottestad and Kari Larsdatter Ottestad.1 Peder Andersen Ottestad was baptised on Friday, 25 March 1763 at Ottestad, Stange Parish, Hedmark, Norway.3,2 He presumably lived with his parents at Ottestad, Stange Parish, Hedmark, in October 1779.4 He was confirmed on Sunday, 10 October 1779 at Ottestad, Stange Parish, Hedmark.4
Peder Andersen Ottestad married Christine Gundersdatter on Monday, 8 June 1789 at Ottestad, Stange Parish, Hedmark.5,2 As of 1790, Peder Andersen Ottestad was also known as Peder Andersen Skjelve (in the Norwegian tradition) when he was at this farm.
Peder died circa 1817 at Stange Parish, Hedmark.1
