William Walker was born in 1815.1 He was the son of Richard Walker and Ann Leonard.1 William Walker was baptised at St. Modwen's on Sunday, 30 July 1815 at Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire. He was baptised four days after the wedding of his parents.2

William Walker married Elizabeth Tunnecliff, daughter of John Tunnecliff, circa 1839.3 William Walker was a shoemaker.1

He was recorded as head of household in the 1851 census with Elizabeth Tunnecliff as his spouse and children living at Court No. 1, St. Werburghs, Derby, Derbyshire.4 His occupation was recorded as being a cordwainer in the census.4

William died in 1876.1
