Richard Walker was born circa 1793 at Mirfield, Yorkshire.1
Richard Walker married Ann Leonard, daughter of Thomas Leonard and Elizabeth Baxter, at St. Modwen's on Wednesday, 26 July 1815 at Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire.1
Richard Walker married Ann Stevens on Monday, 21 July 1817 at Heanor, Derbyshire.2 His occupation was recorded as being a jopurneyman cordwainer in the census.3
He was recorded as head of household in the 1851 census at 5 Back Sitwell Street, Derby, Derbyshire. He was living with his son and daughter.3
Richard died on 27 April 1853 at Derbyshire.1
