Josephine Float Watson was born on 28 May 1843 at South Australia.1 She was the daughter of Henry Watson and Charlotte Eliza Float.1
She may have attended the wedding of her sister in the marriage of John Darby and Edith Watson at the residence of George Wright on Saturday, 12 October 1878 at the Adelaide suburb of Woodville. Edith and John went on to have nine known children together.2
Josephine died on 6 May 1908 at age 64.1
