James Donal Donohoe was born on 20 May 1924 at Rathvilly, Carlow, Ireland.1
James Donal Donohoe married Dawn Kathleen Reid, daughter of Samuel Berjew Fooks Reid and Jean Forrest Sommerville, on Friday, 16 July 1948 at the Melbourne suburb of Northcote. They were 24 and 19 respectively.1
James died on 3 August 1977 at at Royal North Shore Hospital in the Sydney suburb of St. Leonards at age 53.1
