Ann Chandler was born on 11 June 1803 at Liverpool.2,3

She married Charles Berjew Fooks, a builder from Weymouth, son of James MacKenzie Fooks and Jane Berjew, at St. Mary's on Thursday, 12 October 1826 at Lambeth, London. She was 23 and her husband Charles was 22.4,1

At the age of 48 Ann emigrated with her two daughters from Deal, Kent, on 21 October 1851 on the 'William Hyde.5' Ann arrived at Lyttelton, Canterbury, New Zealand, on 5 February 1852.6

She presumably lived with her spouse Charles at Cashel Street, Christchurch, New Zealand, in 1853. They were to stay at this residence for eleven years.7

Ann may have died circa 1876 at New Zealand.2
