Thomas Darby was baptized at All Saints and Saint John on Tuesday, 11 May 1813 at Hertford.1 All Saints church was built in the 15th century with a cruciform plan and a west tower. However, it burnt down in 1891.
He was the son of James Darby and Elizabeth Brambel.1
