Edith Rosalie Wright was born on 25 July 1875 at the Adelaide suburb of Woodville.2 She was the daughter of George Speller Wright J.P. and Emma Elwin Olifent.

Edith Rosalie Wright married Walter Campbell Dobbie at Manthorpe Memorial Congregational Church on Wednesday, 1 July 1903 at the Adelaide suburb of Unley. They were 27 and 26 respectively.1

Her mother died 3 July 1932 at the age of 86. Edith was aged 56 when this happened.3

Their father died 1 January 1935 at the age of 89. Edith and Annie was aged 59 when this happened.4

Edith died on 6 January 1971 at age 95.5 She was buried at West Terrace Cemetery, in Adelaide.5
