Colin was born at 8 Welman Street on Monday, 7 March 1910 at Launceston, Tasmania.3 He was the son of Samuel Berjew Fooks Reid and Edith Caroline Fysh.1 He presumably lived with his parents at 'Hornsey' 9 Adelaide Street, in Launceston, Tasmania, in 1915.3
Colin Lewis Wilmot Reid married Mollie McGregor at Wesley Church on Saturday, 3 September 1932 at Hobart. They were 22 and 22 respectively.3,2 Colin and Mollie lived in 1937 at 9 Cavell Street, in West Hobart.3 Colin Lewis Wilmot Reid was a military officer in 1940.3 Colin and Mollie lived in 1940 at 63 Duke Street, in Sandy Bay, Hobart.3 Colin and Mollie lived in 1943 at at 74 Lord Street in the Hobart suburb of Dynnyrne.3 Colin and Mollie lived in 1972 at at 5 Topham Street in the Hobart suburb of Rose Bay.3
Colin died on 14 October 1982 at Royal Hobart Hospital, in Hobart, at age 72.3 His body was cremated at Cornelian Bay Cemetery on 16 October 1982 at Cornelian Bay, Tasmania.3
