Charles Littler1

Charles Littler was born on 12 January 1806 at Waltham Abbey, Essex.1
He married Annie Summers, at St. Martin in the Fields on Wednesday, 31 January 1838 at Westminster, London..2,3 Charles Littler was 'Gatekeeper of the female house of Correction' in June 1841.4 He was an accountant in 1843.2
On 2 October 1850 he was declared insolvent.4
His family was included in the Tasmanian census, and he indicated that there were eight people living in the brick house - the family plus an adult woman, perhaps a domestic servant.4
Charles, as the father of the bride, along with Annie attended the wedding of Clarissa and Edward Kennedy Murray at her father's house in John Street on Thursday, 27 June 1867 at Launceston, Tasmania. Clarissa was 26 and her husband Edward was 27.. Hannah Goodall as mother of the groom.5 Charles lived in July 1869 at St. John Street, in Launceston, Tasmania.2
Charles died on 4 July 1869 at Launceston, Tasmania, at age 63. After a long and painful illness.6,1
