Dorte Olsdatter Mostue was born at Hosmestad Østre farm, in Stange Parish, Hedmark, Norway.³ She was the daughter of Ole Nielsen Hosmestad and Anne Lauritsdatter Hosmestad.^1,2

She married Nils Christensen Mostue, son of Christen Iversen Mostue and Marte Svensdatter Vålen, in 1716.^4,3 Dorte and Nils lived in October 1716 at at Mostue farm Stange Parish, Hedmark, Norway.

On Monday, 19 August 1720 Nils's father transferred his share of Mostue Nedre farm to him.⁵

Dorte died on 7 December 1755.⁶
