Christian was born at Glestad farm on Tuesday, 30 October 1821 at near the village of Byflaten Ringsaker Parish, Hedmark, Norway. Hissister Agnete was his twin.2,1 He was the son of Even Nielsen Bjørnstad and Agnete Christofersdatter Glestadeie.1 Christian Evensen Glestadeie was baptised on Sunday, 18 November 1821 at Veldre, Ringsaker Parish, Hedmark, Norway.1 He presumably lived with his parents at at Åsen Nedre farm Ringsaker Parish, Hedmark, Norway, in June 1824. Their children were also likely living with them.3 Christian lived in October 1855 at Byflaten, Ringsaker Parish, Hedmark.4
He married Else Eriksdatter Sandbo, on Friday, 19 October 1855 at Ringsaker Parish, Hedmark, Norway..4
