Anders Evensen Glestadeie was born on 27 November 1818 at at Glestad farm near the village of Byflaten Ringsaker Parish, Hedmark, Norway.2,1 He was the son of Even Nielsen Bjørnstad and Agnete Christofersdatter Glestadeie.2 Anders Evensen Glestadeie was baptised on Sunday, 20 December 1818 at Ringsaker Parish, Hedmark, Norway.3 He presumably lived with his parents at at Åsen Nedre farm Ringsaker Parish, Hedmark, Norway, in June 1824. Their children were also likely living with them.4 He presumably lived with his parents at Byflaten, Ringsaker Parish, Hedmark, in October 1833.1 He was confirmed on Sunday, 13 October 1833 at Veldre, Ringsaker Parish, Hedmark, Norway. It was said of his schoolwork that he had a "fairly good knowledge, applied by diligence and virtuous behavior."1 Anders lived in 1850 at Byflaten, Ringsaker Parish, Hedmark.5
