Thomas Hampson may have been born in 1802 at Lancashire.2,3 Thomas lived in April 1832 at Manchester.1 He was a dyer in April 1832.1
He married Tomason Horrocks, daughter of Elizabeth Horrocks, at Parish Church Manchester on Wednesday, 11 April 1832 at Manchester..1
He was recorded as head of household in the 1841 census with Tomason Horrocks (which other records indicate is his spouse) at at Club Roiw in the village of Turton near the town of Bolton, Lancashire. Also in the household were his wife and three children.3 His occupation was recorded as being a dyer in the census.3
Thomas died on 2 December 1854 at 4 Thomas Street, Chorlton-on-Medlock, Manchester.4,5 His body was likely interred at Christ Church Walmsley on 16 December 1854 at the village of Egerton near the town of Bolton, Lancashire.2
His will was probated on 17 February 1859. The estate was valued at less than 50 pounds.6
