Robert Douglas Cossins was born on 22 October 1910 at Marsala, Trapani, Sicilia, Italy.1
Robert Douglas Cossins married Patricia Alfreda Littler, daughter of Alfred Edward Littler and Alice May Fookes, on Monday, 22 September 1941 at the Melbourne suburb of Hawthorn. They were 30 and 21 respectively.1 Robert (and presumably his spouse Patricia) lived in 1944 at 'the Willows', in Westbury, Tasmania.1
Robert died on 1 October 1993 at Launceston, Tasmania, at age 82.1
