James Jameson was born circa 1844 at Bolton, Lancashire.1 He was the son of James Jameson and Nancy Calderbank.1
He was recorded as living with his parents and older siblings Fanny, Mary, Anne, John and Betsy in the 1851 census at Barn Street, Bolton, Lancashire. He was recorded as being 7 years old.2 James Jameson was an iron moulder in April 1861.1
He was recorded as living with his parents, two of his sister's children and his siblings Mary, Anne, John and Betsy in the 1861 census at 56 Asburner Street, Bolton, Lancashire. He was recorded as being 17 years old.1
