Kearnes Deane was born on 22 September 1875 at Adelaide.2 He was the son of Alexander Charles Deane and Sarah Shiels.1
His father died 12 April 1912 at the age of 71. Kearnes was aged 36 when this happened.
Kearnes died on 9 October 1959 at Adelaide at age 84.2
