Henry William Oaten

Henry was born on Sunday, 4 September 1921 at the Melbourne suburb of Northcote.^1,2,3 He was the son of Henry William Oaten and Ellen Gertrude Morris. His common name was Harry. He presumably lived with his parents at the Melbourne suburb of Preston in 1924.⁴

Henry William Oaten began military service in WWII.⁴ Henry was serving with the RAFF, G2/2AP in WWII.⁴

He married Norma Kathleen Williams, on Saturday, 15 July 1944 at Preston. He was 22 and his wife Norma was 22..⁴ Henry William Oaten ended military service in 1948.⁴ Henry and Norma lived in 1963 at the Melbourne suburb of Reservoir East.⁴ Henry and Norma lived in 1968 at the Melbourne suburb of Preston North.⁴ Henry and Norma lived in 1972 at Preston North.⁴

Henry died on 13 January 2005 at Kilmore, Victoria, at age 83.^5,3 His body was interred at Preston Cemetery on 17 January 2005 at the Melbourne suburb of Preston. They are buried in an Oaten family plot..^1,4
