Anne Nilsdatter Mostue was born in 1720 at at Mostue farm Stange Parish, Hedmark, Norway.1 She was the daughter of Nils Christensen Mostue and Dorte Olsdatter Mostue.2,3 Anne Nilsdatter Mostue was baptised on Monday, 20 May 1720 at Stange Parish, Hedmark, Norway.1 Anne lived in October 1742 at at Mostue Nedre farm Stange Parish, Hedmark, Norway.4
She married Simen Hansen Hestnes, a widow, son of Hans Simensen Jønsberg and Siri Engebretsdatter Hestnes, on Thursday, 11 October 1742 at Stange Parish, Hedmark..5,6 Anne Nilsdatter Mostue may also have been known as Anne Nilsdatter Hestnes (in the Norwegian tradition) when she was at this farm. Anne and Simen lived in April 1743.7 She attested to the validity of Simen Hansen Hestnes's will on 8 August 1755.
Anne Nilsdatter Mostue married Mogens Mogensen Hestnes (Arstad) on Tuesday, 29 June 1756.6,8
Anne died at about the age of 44 on 8 April 1764 at at Hestnes farm Stange Parish, Hedmark, Norway.6,9
Her will was probated on 24 October 1764 at Stange Parish, Hedmark.6
