Martha Battle was born in 1862.1 She was the daughter of John Charles Battle and Lucy Young.1 She presumably lived with her parents at at Hanover Street in the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy in January 1867.2
On 8 July 1928 her brother Thomas died at the age of 68.3
Thomas Hamilton Battle was remembered in death by family :
