She married William Watson, circa 1800.1 Martha Waterhouse emigrated with her husband, her son Henry and young family from Gravesend, Kent, on 31 October 1838 on the "Katherine Stewart Forbes."1 Martha Waterhouse witnessed the immigration of Henry Watson on 21 March 1839 at Glenelg, South Australia.1
