Thirza Mary Oaten was born circa 1866 at Victoria.1 She was the daughter of James Oaten and Thirza Vaughan.1 Thirza Mary Oaten may have been born circa 1872.2
Thirza died on 3 January 1902.2 Her body was interred at Coburg Pine Ridge Cemetery on 4 January 1902 at the Melbourne suburb of Coburg. She is buried in the Church Of England Section P, Grave 589.2
