Veronica was born on Wednesday, 24 June 1896 at Australia.1 She was the daughter of Henry Hensell Thompson and Margaret Anne Carroll.1
Her father died 29 December 1898 at the age of 38. Veronica was aged 2 when this happened. Veronica Thompson was also known as Bidda.1 Veronica Thompson was also known as Vera.1 She presumably lived with her parents at at corner Reilly and Blanch streets in the Melbourne suburb of Collingwood in October 1901.2
Her mother died 7 November 1905 at the age of 41. Veronica was aged 9 when this happened. She was left in the care of her sixteen year old sister.
Veronica was sent to a convent school in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria.1 She moved to Sydney.1
Veronica died in 1951.3
