Arthur Donald Nicholson was born on 29 March 1855 at St. Martins, Shropshire.2,3 He was the son of Donald Nicholson and Mary Ann Jones.1
He was recorded as living with his parents, a four-year-old cousin and siblings Anne and Charles in the 1861 census at Lodge, Oswestry, Shropshire. He was recorded as being 6 years old.2
Arthur died on 27 June 1869 at Oswestry, Shropshire, at age 14.1
