Alan Dudley Oaten Reaby was born on 25 September 1917 at the Melbourne suburb of Chelsea.1 He was the son of William Charles H. Reaby and Charlotte Amelia Oaten.1 He presumably lived with his parents at at Wimbourne Avenue in the Melbourne suburb of Chelsea in 1919.2
Alan died on 7 April 1999 at Brisbane at age 81.1
