Thomas Patrick Wade began military service in November 1906 when he enlisted in Lincolnshire Regiment - Private 7837 at age 14.5 He was Private - 2nd Battallion Lincolnshire Regiment in 1911 at Portsmouth, Hampshire.5 Thomas lived in 1911 at Portsmouth, Hampshire. Military Establishment.5 He was promoted Corporal in 1914.5 He arrived in France on 5 November 1914.5 He was promoted Acting Colour Sergeant in 1915.5 He was wounded and gassed five times. Transferred to Labour Corps for the rest of the war. in 1915.5
Thomas Patrick Wade married Amy Barnett in 1921 at Sheffield.4,5 Thomas lived on 14 June 1932 at 4 Cullabine Road, Manor Estate, Sheffield.5 He was Tailor on 14 June 1932.5 Thomas and Amy lived in 1939.7
