Emelia Dorothy Mumford was also known as Emily Dorothy.⁴ Emelia Dorothy Mumford was also known as Amelia Dorothy.⁴ She was born on 21 October 1895 at Moorghehatta, Bengal.^1,5,2,4 She was baptised on Thursday, 21 November 1895 at Moorghehatta, Bengal. Roman Catholic Cathedral - India Office Records.⁴ Emelia lived on 29 April 1925 at Kurseong, West Bengal.⁴

She married Joseph Michael Vincent Wade, a solidier, son of James William Frederick Wade and Ellen O'Leary, in a Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, 29 April 1925 at Kurseong, West Bengal. She was 29 and her husband Joseph was 23..⁴

At the age of 35 Emelia emigrated from Calcutta, West Bengal, in July 1931.^1,4 She immigrated on 11 August 1931 to London.^2,4 Emelia arrived at London on 11 August 1931.^1,4


Emelia died on 29 May 1963 at age 67 Buried in Laughton Church graveyard.^3,4
