Stephen was born circa 1793 at Melcombe Regis, Weymouth, Dorset.3 He was the son of William Fooks and Ann Williams MacKenzie. Stephen John Eyles Fooks may have been baptised on Monday, 10 June 1793 at Melcombe Regis, Weymouth, Dorset.4,3 He may have been baptised on Wednesday, 10 October 1804 at Melcombe Regis, Weymouth, Dorset. he was baptised on the same day as three of his siblings.5
He may have married Charlotte Holloway, on Sunday, 16 June 1816 at Andover, Hampshire..2
He made a will on 30 March 1831. His wife Charlotte Holloway was named as the sole executor and beneficiary. (an unknown value.)6
Stephen died in April 1832.7,8 His body was interred at All Saints on 16 April 1832 at the village of Wyke Regis near the town of Weymouth, Dorset.8
His will was probated on 8 September 1832.6
