Amy was born on Sunday, 6 July 1851 at Jerusalem (now Colebook), Tasmania.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Rev. Samuel Berjew Fookes and Margaret Sarah Westbrook. She presumably lived with her parents at Impression Bay (now Premaydena), Tasman Penninsula, Tasmania, in 1854.4 She presumably lived with her parents at Colebrook Dale, Tasmania, in July 1861.5
Amy died on 5 July 1861 at Launceston, Tasmania, at age 9 Amy died a day before her tenth birthday.3 Her body was interred at St. Andrew's Anglican Cemetery at Perth, Tasmania.5
