Edward Oaten was born on 16 January 1855 at Paul Street, Taunton, Somerset.1 He was the son of Frederick Oaten and Dinah Bradbeer.1 Edward Oaten was a bookbinder.1
Edward Oaten married Evangeline Louisa Willsman in 1878 at Bristol.1 Edward Oaten Leaving Liverpool on the 'Celtic', Edward arrived in New York on 25 June 1905 to visit his sister Eliza and family in Red Oak. on 25 June 1905.1
Edward died in 1936 at Bristol.1
