Charlotte Louisa Maud Oaten was born in 1869 at Melbourne.1 She was the daughter of John Oaten and Margaret Isabella Anderson.1 She presumably lived with her parents at at 36 Atherton Street in the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy in 1870. John's brother Albert may have been living in the house previously.2
Charlotte died in 1870 at New South Wales.1
